Despite its Historic Opulence, the home has a warm and inviting atmosphere with an astonishingly cozy feel. Upon entering through the enormous front door, you will find yourself standing in a grand marble foyer looking down a 60-foot long arched marble hall lined with urns and sculptured busts. As you wander about the Residence noticing all of the Georgian-style detail, you will discover gigantic windows that let in a bounty of natural light, and water views from every room. In total, there are 11 wood burning fireplaces, the front of which are antique pieces collected from country homes in England.

The fireplace in the family room however, was obtained from a 16th-century French monastery.

The conservatory includes a hand-painted trompe l’oeil Coyne vaulted ceiling, genuine Chinese silk wall-coverings, 17th-century French limestone fireplace, and an 18th-century signed Perry of London crystal chandelier. This comfortable elegance does not end in the conservatory: you will find it all throughout the estate, from the drawing room to the billiards room. Each of the 8 private bedrooms have a full bath and the master bedroom has a separate reading area, as well as an extravagant master bathroom.
